I have been going to Dr. Ham for about 9 years. He is a wonderful doctor amd surgeon, but has a very unprofessional office staff. First, you have to go through an answering service and never actually reach the office directly. WHEN and IF they get back to you they are not nice. When I called to cancel a surgery the office manager was horrible. They tried to charge me $500 even though it was 4 days before surgery!!! After going round and round she agreed to wave the fee and I would no longer be a patient. I still need the surgery so that was disheartening but I agreed. That was in June of 2024. In December I received a bill for $500 with a $120 credit applied. I am assuming an overpayment I should have received back. Underhanded and sneaky. Clearly all they care about is money. I have been trying to call them but never receive call backs.

Saw Dr. Ham for several years and was operated on twice by him. Never had an issue with Dr. Ham, however when his wife came to work at his office, the entire staff changed and the allergy lab was abruptly closed. I called and left 3 messages for Dr. Ham to call me to discuss why he would not refill a medication he had previously prescribed and finally received a call back from his wife who was extremely rude and told me, “you don’t get it, you don’t get to talk to the doctor”! Needless to say, I told her to exactly what I thought of her and hung up the phone. I received a letter from their office that I was no longer a patient of Dr. Ham’s….no kidding!!!!!! My sister, mother and a close friend all had similar disappointing experiences with this practice and also found a new ENT doctor. The entire practice took a nose dive when Dr. Ham’s wife took over as the office manager, she’s an absolutely vile human being!

I have been very impressed seeing Dr. Ham. My wife worked with him in the operating room Sherman hospital and recommended him and I must say I’m very impressed with his knowledge and his professionalism. My sinus issue is much better, my hearing was assessed by an audiologist and all aspects of my particular condition was explained in a collaborative manner including future plans. I’m a retired RN with 36 years of critical care experience so I see professional care from that point of view.
I highly recommend him and the office staff as well who I have met.

Between a deviated septum and nasal polyps, I haven't had a working nose for decades. Dr. Ham very quickly diagnosed the problems (I'd never even heard of nasal polyps), told me what medications to try, ordered the CT scan, performed the surgery, and followed up with the several in-office post-op exams. At every instance, I was impressed by his confidence, his explanations, and his patience.

Also, having had recent "disappointments" as the concept of big-box medicine takes hold, it's quite nice to visit a private practice!

Over the past month, I have had multiple visits and phone calls with the team at Associates in ENT. It is refreshing to experience a patient centric medical office in 2023. Whether on the phone for longer conversations about my insurance coverage or face to face with Dr. Ham and Dr. Ella T, I never felt like they were rushing me so they could get on to the next call or patient. I sensed I was the only one on their schedule for the day, and that doesn't happen much in the Big Box world of today's medical practices. I am completely satisfied with the skills, knowledge and experience both doctors and their staff. Go here to be treated like a person and not another co-payment.

Highly Recommend! I was sent to Dr. Ham's office by the Sherman Hospital ER due a CT scan showing a sizable mass in my throat. Dr. Ham walked me through the results of the CT scan and the probable diagnosis in a way that was easy to understand. I was able to get scheduled the following day for a biopsy and tonsillectomy. Prior to the surgery Dr. Ham did a great job of explaining the procedure and putting me at ease. At my follow-up appointment about a week later, he thoroughly explained my pathology report. I am extremely grateful I was referred to Dr. Ham and can’t say enough about how comfortable he made me feel during a very uncertain and scary time. Excellent care!
